Commercial property

The two core areas of work for commercial property team are development and transactional work.

Development work is carried out for clients ranging in size from well known national house-builders to smaller commercial operations. We will deal with a development from initial investigations to final disposal to end users, homeowners or investors.

Transactional work includes buying and selling investment properties, security related transactions such as refinancing or funding new acquisitions and landlord and tenant related work. With business transactions we may be working with our colleagues in the commercial team. We’ll advise on the terms and structure of any sale or purchase as well as doing our part to bring a successful conclusion.

We are familiar with the ins and outs of property work; we’ve probably seen most of the difficult issues thrown up by property development or transactions. A typical working week could involve anything from rights to light to construction warranties.
