Gareth completed his training contract at Darwin Gray and he also spent a secondment at M&A Solicitors in Cardiff before qualifying in 2006. Since qualification, Gareth has handled both commercial property and corporate transactions and his work often involves both areas.
Examples of work undertaken
Corporate/Commercial
- Handling a variety of share/business and asset acquisitions and disposals including the purchase of shares in an overseas company and advising a liquidator on the disposal of an insolvent company’s shareholding
- Dealing with incorporations and company reconstructions
- Preparing and advising on shareholder agreements
Commercial Property
- Handling acquisitions of new build commercial properties
- Drafting and negotiating sale contracts conditional on planning and environmental matters
- Dealing with SIPP property transactions
