Gareth joined Darwin Gray in 2004 as the firm’s first ever trainee solicitor. Part of Gareth’s training was spent on secondment at a niche corporate law firm and he qualified at Darwin Gray in 2006.
Upon qualification, Gareth joined the commercial property team, where he assisted Donald Gray and Alison Ivin with transactional work. On top of the experience he gained on his secondment, Gareth has handled many corporate transactions as a qualified solicitor at Darwin Gray.
Whilst he now specialises in commercial property, his corporate experience complements his property work and he often deals with business and asset transactions involving property sales and lettings. Gareth has particular expertise in acting for veterinary practices on acquisitions and disposals.
Gareth has experience in a broad range of commercial property areas, which include sales and purchases, landlord and tenant matters, re-financing, and property work associated with franchises.
Gareth also lectures law at Cardiff and Vale College for CILEX evening courses (Land law and Leasehold Conveyancing).
