Darwin Gray doubles north Wales office space and welcomes new staff
August 14, 2025
The expansion of Darwin Gray’s north Wales office comes just 12 months after the doubling of our head office in Cardiff.
In the past 2 years, we have experienced significant strategic growth. The firm has developed new service offerings to clients, and has also welcomed significant new talent to the team.
The latest new appointments include Solicitor, Gwen Hughes, who has joined the firm’s Property team, and Lowri Evans, who will be supporting the firm as Legal Assistant.
Darwin Gray has already experienced huge successes so far in 2025, including reappointments to the Welsh Government Commercial Delivery Framework, the Welsh Language Commissioner legal framework, and other multiple major tender wins. In June, we were also awarded the Business Growth of the Year Award at the inaugural Legal News Wales awards.
The doubling of both the Cardiff and Bangor offices underpins our commitment to being a truly pan-Wales provider, supporting clients and communities across Wales and beyond.
Our Managing Partner, Fflur Jones said: “We are delighted to continue expanding and investing in our north Wales home. With 30% of our staff fluent being Welsh speakers, we are proud to service businesses and organisations throughout the north Wales region, as well as the communities around them, in their preferred language.
We are proud to also be supporting a north Wales charity this year, Gafael Llaw, which helps support children and young people with cancer.”
With over 12% of our firm now based in Darwin Gray’s Bangor office, the firm has a growing foothold in the region, with a number of events in the pipeline in north Wales, including a mock disciplinary hearing and a number of sector-specific roundtables.
