We were hosted by the Engine Shed in Bristol which was a great venue, and we think it will be the new Bristol home for the South West & Wales region for a while!
It was lovely as always to catch up with our regular members, but great to see lots of new faces as well. Franchising in the region really seems to be growing, and I really enjoy speaking with people about the new business ventures and helping them with their franchising journey.
We were delighted to be joined by Nigel Apperley of TrustIst who talked to us about the power of online reviews and how to harness them to generate better exposure in Google, and an improved click- and conversion-rate.
The open discussion shared lots of new ideas implemented by different franchise networks, and is always a great source of support for some of our newer members.
Our next meeting will be held on 5th September in Bristol, and we will be announcing the speakers soon – watch this space!
