EWIF is a not for profit organisation set up to encourage more women into the franchising sector, and their annual awards present a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women in franchising.
The finalists’ drink reception was held in the stunning Waldorf Hilton, sponsored by McDonald’s. The Awards themselves were once again hosted by Natwest.
We heard from Janet Wedderburn from Natwest who shared some insights on women in business from the Rose Review.
Penny Power OBE was the keynote speaker and gave an inspiring talk on her own journey with a particular focus on maintaining mental fitness and valuing yourself.
Darwin Gray was again proud to sponsor the Young Woman in Franchising award, which was won by Hannah Drury of Caremark.
I was thrilled to be a finalist in the Service Provider of the Year category.
