| Preparing and sending a letter before action to the debtor | £90 + VAT |
This will only be payable if the debtor settles the debt upon receipt of the letter before action.
If the debtor makes contact with us querying (but not disputing) the debt or discussing a payment plan, we will charge an hourly rate of [£90] plus VAT.
If the debtor fails to make payment following service of the letter before action we will issue proceedings.

*The fixed costs above include the cost of sending the letter before action if proceedings are issued.
If the value of the debt exceeds £10,000, please contact us to discuss a fee.
If the debtor fails to respond to the claim, a request for judgment by default will be made.
The fixed costs above include the cost of obtaining judgment.
If payment of a judgment is not made voluntarily, there are several options available to enforce the judgment and collect payment.
If you would like to take steps to enforce a judgment, we can provide a detailed breakdown of the options available to you and the costs involved.
If a claim is defended at any point once proceedings are issued, any work carried out by us will be charged at our standard hourly rates.
Once we have reviewed and evaluated the defence, we will discuss the matter with you further and provide an initial estimate of the likely additional costs.
Please note that our fixed fee will still be charged for all work done up to that stage.
All payments will be made directly into your account by the debtor and we will not be responsible for managing any repayment plan.
