Following Catherine's qualification in Ireland in 2002 she specialised in property law gaining invaluable experience in commercial property at the height of Ireland’s ‘Celtic Tiger’ economy. During this time, she advised foreign, national and local companies on the acquisition financing, and disposal of business property which included industrial, retail, agricultural, and development land.
Catherine joined Darwin Gray in 2007 following her move to Cardiff and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2014. Catherine became a Partner in April 2019.

Catherine acts for pension trustees and members of SIPP purchases both on an individual and syndicated basis and also deals with the property elements of insolvency and commercial transactions.
She regularly attends and participates in events with the South Wales branch of Women in Property.
Catherine has served as a Board Member at Hendre Limited, the parent company of Hafod Housing and Hafod Care, one of the largest associations in Wales. She now sits on the Group’s Engagement, Performance and Innovation Committee.
Catherine is learning to speak Welsh. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, camping, and all things historical. She enjoys most forms of sport, though mainly as a spectator, save for running around after a young family.
