Gareth joined Darwin Gray in 2004, becoming a Partner in April 2019. He has experience in a broad range of commercial property areas, which include sales and purchases, landlord and tenant matters, re-financing, and property work associated with franchises.

Gareth joined Darwin Gray in 2004 as the firm’s first ever trainee solicitor. Part of Gareth’s training was spent on secondment at a niche corporate law firm and he qualified at Darwin Gray in 2006.
Upon qualification, Gareth joined the Commercial Property team. In addition to the experience that he gained on his secondment, Gareth has handled many corporate transactions.
Whilst he now specialises in commercial property, his corporate experience complements his property work and he often deals with business and asset transactions involving property sales and lettings.
Gareth has particular expertise in acting for veterinary practices on acquisitions and disposals.
Gareth has experience in a broad range of commercial property areas which include sales and purchases, landlord and tenant matters, re-financing and property work associated with franchises and also insolvency.
Considered ‘one to watch’ by Chambers and Partners, Gareth was promoted to Senior Associate in April 2016. Gareth became a partner of the firm in April 2019.
Gareth lectured law at Cardiff and Vale College for CILEX evening courses for two academic years (Land Law and Leasehold Conveyancing).
Gareth is a keen runner and has taken part in a number of half marathons throughout the country. When he can, he enjoys travelling.
