Tegen joined Darwin Gray in 2007 as a trainee. Upon qualification in 2010, she continued her work in the Dispute Resolution team and the Corporate and Commercial team. She was promoted to Associate in early 2014.
Tegen advises on a broad range of corporate transactions, particularly in the technology, FCA regulated and franchising sectors. She also acts in relation to management buy outs, joint ventures and business reorganisation and restructuring.
With her commercial experience, Tegen acts for a wide range of SME companies with a particular emphasis on those in the manufacturing and exporting sector. Tegen is regularly instructed to draft, review and advise on commercial contracts of all types, including software licensing, intellectual property and distribution agreements.
As a member of our British Franchise Association affiliated Franchising team, Tegen’s practice involves work for both franchisors and franchisees, advising on franchise agreements, disputes and the sale and purchase of franchised businesses.
In relation to Dispute Resolution, Tegen is regularly instructed in specialist construction claims, with a strong emphasis on adjudication & enforcement.
